Judy Daniels

CEO

Ph: 517.272.5888
HRU1@hru-tech.com

Judy started HRU in 1980 after a successful start to her career in running various branch offices for national staffing firms. Her big break came at a pre-holiday party when speaking to the husband of a close friend, who happened to be an Engineering Director of General Motors. He was struggling to find Engineers - Judy's response "I can do that!" and she's been doing that ever since!

Tim Sackett

President

Ph: 517.272.5888 Ext. 112
sackett.tim@hru-tech.com

Tim is one of the few HR pros who has been on both sides of the desk. With over 15 years of experience in talent acquisition, Tim has worked as a staffing director on the corporate side with companies like Applebee's International, ShopKo Stores, Inc. and Sparrow Health System. He also has had two stints with HRU - first coming to us directly out of college for eight years, then returning - a la the Prodigal Son - to run HRU after a nine-year sabbatical on the corporate side of the fence (and his story is closer to the Biblical reference than you might think!). Tim is an active HR blogger, conference presenter and advocate for a Diet Mountain Dew soda fountain in the office. He truly believes that the most important role of HR in any organization is to increase the talent.

Todd Briggs

Vice President of Business Development

Ph: 517.272.5888 Ext. 208
briggs.todd@hru-tech.com

Todd has been with HRU since 1988. He has been responsible for developing much of HRU's business across the multiple industries that they service. He compares new business development to putting together a million-piece jigsaw puzzle, stating that it takes a lot of determination, patience, persistence and vision to build a successful client relationship, but when you are done, everyone is satisfied and happy with the results. He attended Grand Valley State University and Hillsdale College, studying engineering and business. His favorite quote: "Those who say it can't be done should get out of the way of those doing it." - Chinese Proverb Outside of work, Todd enjoys spending time with his wife. He also plays competitive baseball throughout Michigan and competes annually in the Roy Hobbs World Series in Florida. He is also enjoys hunting and fishing and is an avid reader.

Amanda Rowe

Vice President of Recruiting

Ph: 517.272.5888 Ext. 138
rowe.amanda@hru-tech.com

Amanda is a graduate of Central Michigan University with a degree in communications. She began her career at HRU as a technical recruiter and later moved into her current position as recruiting manager. Amanda has over 11 years of experience in the technical staffing industry, focusing on talent acquisition management, organizational and leadership development and employee relations. The best part of her job at HRU is developing relationships with clients and employees that stand out from a typical staffing company - "it's all about the people!" In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, playing softball and coaching her daughter's tee-ball and soccer teams.

Elijah Beckwith

Account Manager

Ph: 517.272.5888 Ext. 109
beckwith.elijah@hru-tech.com

Elijah attended Grand Valley State University, earning his bachelors in management and general finance. This was a lovely but time-consuming bonus, since he really went there to play baseball. He's been with HRU for four years and currently handles talent acquisition and development for clients in the Midwest. Elijah focuses mostly on IT and engineering capacities - but has been known to assist in the placement of a rocket scientist here and there. When not digging for pertinent client/candidate info, he enjoys spending time with his wife, participating in church/community functions and reliving the glory days of yesteryear on any court, field, diamond or 5k course.

Brooke LaBelle

Account Manager

Ph: 517.272.5888 Ext. 136
labelle.brooke@hru-tech.com

Brooke comes to HRU from the with over eight years of recruiting/hiring experience and a bachelor's degree earned from Central Michigan University. She specializes in supply chain, HR, process improvement and many IT-related positions. She has recently earned the designation of Certified Staffing Professional through the American Staffing Association, a much respected honor within our industry. A guilty pleasure that Brooke admits to: drinking fountain Diet Coke in a styrofoam glass only. Her favorite quote "Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising up every time we fail."

Heidi Wiles

Technical Recruiter

Ph: 517.272.5888 Ext. 134
wiles.heidi@hru-tech.com

Heidi has 15 years of management background and over two years of experience in professional and corporate staffing with an emphasis on information technology, engineering, finance, human resources, military/defense and automotive industries. She is a graduate of the University of Phoenix with a degree in business management. Heidi feels that the best part of working at HRU is the friendly team environment. Each individual is willing to assist the other when needed and is a fine example of what a "team player" should be. Her favorite quote? "Never lose sight of the fact that the most important yardstick of your success will be how you treat other people - your family, friends, coworkers and even strangers you meet along the way." - Barbara Bush

Lindsey Ross

Technical Recruiter

Ph: 517.272.5888 Ext. 105
ross.lindsey@hru-tech.com

No longer the newbie, we just call Lindsey - the Rock Star! A Michigan State graduate with a B.A. in community and public relations and an MBA from University of Phoenix, Lindsey has several years of recruiting experience in many industries. If she won the lottery today, she would buy fancy cars for her family and friends (their choice of course!) and either pay off everyone's mortgage or buy them a new house and she would immediately make plans to travel all over the world - and she would most likely negotiate to work a "different schedule."

Aaron Hale

Technical Recruiter

Ph: 517.272.5888 Ext. 113
hale.aaron@hru-tech.com

Aaron acquired his bachelor's degree in Business Management and Marketing upon graduation from Grand Valley State University. Aaron has entered HRU with 5+ years of management and customer service experience and plans to build on those positive experiences as a technical recruiter. If given the opportunity to leave on vacation today he would catch up on some surfing in Hawaii with his girlfriend Kaleigh and his dog Sydney. Aaron loves taking risks; perhaps that's why he has a fascination with Las Vegas and extreme sport activities. Aaron plans to see a baseball game at every MLB stadium before he dies and if he has to pick a favorite quote it would be: "Are you a product of your environment, or is your environment a product of you?" - Jack Nicholson (The Departed)

Brent VanKuiken

Technical Recruiter

Ph: 517.908.3172
Vankuiken.Brent@hru-tech.com

Brent is an upcoming graduate of Davenport University with a BA in Human Resources. Why HR? He's a momma's boy, his Mom spent 30 years in the trenches of HR, so it was a natural fit for him to go after a career in the people side of the business. He wants you to think he's ultra professional, but in truth, he's as green as grass, which makes him work that much harder to ensure he will do a great job for you.

Britney Hansen

Technical Recruiter

Ph: 517.908.3164
hansen.britney@hru-tech.com

Britney started walking when she was 8 months, running at 9 months, and graduated from Michigan State in 3.5 years, which is why she couldn't even wait to finish school before she started working for us! She's a "go-getter" as your grandpa would say. Brit, also, likes the movie "invictus" so much that she refuses to watch it while in the company of others, because "they don't appreciate its greatness enough." Her fav quote from the movie - "I'm the master of my fate, I'm the captain of my soul." It definitely sounds like she is!

Zach Jensen

Technical Recruiter

Ph: 517.908.3171
jensen.zach@hru-tech.com

Zach graduated from Michigan State University with a B.A. in Human Resources and Society. He has experience in customer service, sales, management of restaurants, property management, and government relations - but probably his best skill that makes him a good recruiter is that he was a bartender! He is a "people person" which you would expect from a bartender. His roommates have nicknamed him "The Mayor" since they cannot go out without running into people who know him. His Favorite quote: "It's hard to beat a person who never gives up." - Babe Ruth (and Zach never gives up!)

Dave Glandon

Technical Recruiter

Ph: 517.908.3161
glandon.dave@hru-tech.com

Dave graduated from Michigan State University in the top of his class with a B.A. in Human Resource Management and a B.S. in Psychology. It would be safe to assume that he is a little bit of a perfectionist but he believes you only fail when you haven't put forth all of your effort. When a friend asked him if he would like to compete in a "Tough Mudder", a 10 plus mile endurance obstacle course designed by British Special Forces to test all around strength, stamina and mental grit, his simple answer was "Sure". Why? Because Dave never backs down from a challenge.

Matt Chambers

Technical Recruiter

Ph: 517.908.3154
chambers.matthew@hru-tech.com

Matthew graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor's degree in Financial Planning. After a painstaking search to find the perfect employer, he landed at HRU to become a Technical Recruiter. His passion is playing hockey and he's been doing since he was 2 1/2, and he just can't stop. His other love is for his Manchester United football team - that's a soccer team in England for all of you none American football fans!

James Weiner

Technical Recruiter

Ph: 517.908.3163
weiner.james@hru-tech.com

James is a graduate of Michigan State University with a B.A. in Human Resources. He has transitioned into technical recruiting from a background in construction staffing and employee management. He enjoys working in talent acquisition because the transactions are mutually beneficial, which he believes is to rare a quality in today's world. His most enjoyable life interests are golf, skiing/snowboarding, cycling and being around good company (and walks on the beach and pina colada's...). If James could be anywhere in the world, besides behind the desk at HRU, he would live at the base of a mountain in a small town on a beautiful golf course enjoying all that life has to offer!
